Town Centre Park Community Centre

Town Centre Park Community Centre offers a range of activities and programs for preschoolers, children, youth and adults with a focus on arts, culture and nature. The facility overlooks Lafarge Lake and includes multipurpose rooms, a community living room and lounge space, an outdoor patio and the Praguery Café, opening early-summer 2024. 

Hours of Operation 

  • Sunday and Monday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Opening Week Try It Sessions

Look for a variety of one-day ‘try it’ activities and drop-in opportunities to see what programs will be available at the centre this spring. These low-cost sessions are available during the first week the facility is open, May 11 to 18. 

Program Highlights

  • Outdoor Recreation: Search under the "Outdoor Recreation" tab for weekly walk opportunities, kids nature workshops, plant identification programs, birding for beginners and more. 
  • Fine Art Programs: Browse under the different age categories for painting and drawing programs like watercolour workshops, portrait drawing and adventures in art.  
  • Language Skills: Find a conversational English program for adults new learning English under the "Lifelong Learning" tab 
  • Family Night In: Spend quality time with your family, friends and neighbours. Join us Friday nights from 6 – 8 p.m. for arts, crafts, games and more! Pre-registration is recommended. $2/person.
