Benefits
Features of the park site included:
- Decorative plaza with electrical conduit to support smaller tourneys and events
- Grass areas for picnicking and field viewing
- An irrigated, sand-based, full-size, natural grass field (100 by 60 metres large)
- Pathways circling the field connect the school and can connect with future trails identified in the Master Trail Plan in the adjacent areas
Two playground spaces and sport courts by School District 43 on the adjacent elementary school property are designed to provide full public access during after school hours.
