Development Servicing

The Development Servicing team reviews and coordinates the infrastructure requirements associated with development projects throughout Coquitlam. The team works with developers, consultants and other City departments to ensure roads, water, sewer and drainage infrastructure are designed and constructed to City standards before being accepted by the City.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administration of the City's Subdivision and Development Servicing Bylaw
• Processing and final acceptance of all offsite servicing and infrastructure design packages
• Administration of the City's Soil Management Bylaw
• Processing of a number of associated applications and approvals including:
  • The City's Frontage Works Program
  • Latecomer Agreements
  • Erosion and Sediment Control
  • Stormwater Management
  • Preconstruction Approvals
  • Securities and Servicing Agreements.
