Compost Giveaway and Earth Day

The City's annual compost giveaway will take place at the Town Center Park in parking lot C. This year there will also be compost workshops, children's activities and environmental displays. The compost workshops will take place at the nearby Inspiration Garden at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. 

Please note, compost is for Coquitlam residents only, ID required. Each household may take home one bag. 

How to Get your Compost
 • Park in Parking Lot C – only those that want and are eligible for compost should drive into or park here (there is other parking available within the park). 
 • Stop at the Info Booth to get a compost stamp card.
 • Visit City staff at a City Environmental tent and show identification with Coquitlam address to get a stamp. 
 • Bring the stamped card to the drive through compost pick up location on the way out.
