Help keep our dog parks paws-itively sparkling! This is an opportunity for dog owners and dog park patrons to lend their expertise, take ownership and make a difference while enhancing Coquitlam’s outdoor park spaces. Volunteer opportunities are inclusive to people of all ages and abilities.
Dog Parks in Coquitlam
Dog park stewards are responsible for donating their time to help keep our dog parks clean and beautiful. We provide supplies for picking up litter and provide training and support. Adopt-A-Dog Park volunteers:
- Complete an activity log after each visit
- Keep the dog park clean from litter
- Report hazards, vandalism or unusual activity
Volunteers are recognized with a sign at the dog park.
Interested individuals must complete the screening process, fill out the applicable forms and attend an orientation/training session before trail stewardship activities begin.
