Burke Village park is a future park that will serve an important role connecting the future Burke Mountain Village and the new Burke Mountain Community Centre.
Centrally located in the Village next to the future community centre, the park will provide a critical pedestrian link from outside the Village directly into the heart of the neighbourhood for both neighbourhood residents and visitors to the area. The park will include:
- A splash pad with interactive ground jets
- Flexible and open gathering space with moveable seating options
- An accessible pathway through the park
- A dedicated Streamside Protection and Enhancement Area (SPEA) to run alongside the park's waterway.
The project is making major progress with the completion of detailed design — the stage where the look and feel of the park is refined and finalized. Early site work and construction will start in 2026, with the community centre and park expected to open in 2029.
