Meals for Seniors UpdateDec. 23, 2021

The Meals for Seniors program is changing in the New Year. The goal of our new program is to identify and better connect socially isolated and vulnerable seniors to City of Coquitlam programs, services and leisure opportunities. This program will also provide these seniors the opportunity to purchase healthy, balanced meals for delivery. The final delivery day of our current program was Tuesday, Dec. 21, with the revised program launching in early February 2022.

Our new initiative will be accessed through a referral process. If you think you may qualify for this program, you will have the option to self-refer. Please note to be eligible for this program you must be a Coquitlam resident, be over 50 years of age, and be facing barriers that prevent you from accessing in-person City of Coquitlam services.

If you are not already on the list to receive information about our new initiative, please email pavilions@coquitlam.ca or call 604-927-6093. We will get in touch with you in the New Year to ensure that you receive a referral form.
