Adopt-A-Sports Library

Little Sports Libraries are made with active fun in mind. Building off the success of Little Libraries, this program is focused on providing sport and play opportunities throughout the community during the summer and fall months.

Sports Libraries

Little Sports Libraries are accessible bins stocked with balls, frisbees, jump ropes and more made available to the community in select park locations. We’ve encouraged park visitors to borrow equipment while at the park, or to donate to the libraries sports equipment they’re no longer using. Marked in park spaces by a basketball stand with two hoops Little Sport Libraries will be stocked and monitored by volunteers and businesses, like you!

Duties

You are responsible for donating your time to help maintain the libraries.

Adopt-A-Sports Library volunteers:

  • Help to keep library bins stocked
  • Keep the surrounding area free of litter
  • Report missing or stolen items, vandalism or graffiti
