Apply for the Plumbing Permit (see Additional Information section below for the application forms):
Owners intending to do the work themselves must also submit an owner-prepared plan for review by a Plumbing Plans Examiner
Registered contractors do not need to submit a plan
Pay the permit fee:
Registered contractors will be issued a permit immediately
Owners intending to do the work themselves, must wait for the result of their plan review
Call the City to arrange for inspections at the appropriate stages of the work
Commercial/Industrial/Institutional/Multi-Family
Apply for the Plumbing/Sprinkler Permit (see Additional Information section below for the application forms):
Registered contractors or the registered professional of record for the plumbing and or sprinkler work must submit three sets of plans of the proposed work
Pay application fee
Provide supplemental documentation identified and requested by the Plans Examiner during the review process
Pick up plans after the review is completed
Pay the permit fee
Call the City to arrange for inspections at the appropriate stages of the work
