Important Update for Displaced Households

Temporary accommodation has been extended to Wednesday, March 27.

Information Meeting (**Rescheduled from Tuesday, March 19**)

When:  Wednesday, March 20 - 2 - 3 p.m.

Where: Birch Room, Executive Plaza Hotel 

This session is for all individuals and families permanently displaced by the fire to receive information and ask questions.

Note: To maintain privacy and ensure efforts are focused on supports for the individuals and families who remain displaced by the Gatensbury Fire, media and members of the public will not be admitted to the Birch Room.

What to Expect

Latest Updates: Get the most current information and be advised about what is next.

Housing Information: Representatives from BC Housing will be available to provide information and address questions.

Restoration Status: Hear from the property restoration company about the status of the building and personal belongings.

Personal Support: Meet the City of Coquitlam’s assigned Recovery Support Lead who will work with you to support your personal action plan.

Over the coming week, the Recovery Support Lead will schedule individual meetings with each household to better understand your situation and work to connect you with available resources for unmet needs.
