Spending time in nature can help clear the mind, reduce stress and keep the body healthy. Coquitlam is proud to offer outdoor recreation programs for all ages to explore the outdoors, learn about the natural environment and how to do it safely.
Registered programs include programs for preschoolers, camps for school-aged children, baby-and-me hiking, guided hikes, mountain biking, learn to fish and backcountry navigation courses.

In the online registration system, look for the Outdoor section (on the bottom left of the screen) and open the Outdoor Recreation dropdown to see available programs, dates and times.
Before signing up for any specific hike, take a look at the difficulty rating to assess if the program is right for you. Hikes are rated Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced, based on a variety of factors including trail length, steepness and condition such as tripping or fall hazard.
